•July 2, 2008 • Leave a CommentWe have 55 more days until we start our big adventure! We sold our house! It is in escrow, so wish us luck it all goes through smoothly! We leave August 25th for our month long cross country trip and then Oct. 7 we leave from FL to Honduras! Now we are spending lots of time getting ready for the trips, packing, and seeing friends and family! We will miss everyone in CA, but excited about visiting friends and family on the road and looking forward to meeting new people along the way!

•May 20, 2008 • 1 CommentApproximately 100 days until we leave on our 1 year adventure! We are going through all the processes of getting ready. Jim has found countless Engineer without Border’s projects just in Honduras alone. I will probably go from youth programs to schools to orphanages volunteering. I have not picked anyone out yet. We are in the process of selling our house. It has been on the market for 6 weeks now. We hope to sell it before we go, but if we do not, we will hopefully rent it out and go away for maybe 6 months instead of the year. Wish us luck! If we do sell the house, we most likely will drive across the country first…so we will blog that too. We are thinking a theme to the trip…like trying to see a local band every other night where ever we are…little town, big city…or out in the middle of no where!
